This specific example of Ido tea bowl, a Korean ware with light brown glaze, is especially valued amongst the generally prized Korean bowls. The name Uraku-ido derived from the previous owner Oda Urakusai, the younger brother of the famous feudal lord of the Azuchi-Momoyama period, Oda Nobunaga (1534-82).(20040901_h04)(121127_141028_h04)
